Welcome to Mirth!
This is my little place in the world where imagination rules and knitting and crochet have equal promise. I hope you like my designs enough to plunge in your hooks and needles and give them a try.
Our patterns will be available for purchase by PDF download on April 1, 2010. Until then, here’s a free pattern for you to try. Let us know how you like it!

FREE PATTERN!
Off Kilter Mitts (aka OK Mitts for Lois)
These are some cozy cable mitts knit from the knuckle down so you can make the cuff as long as you want. Work them on 2 circulars, one long circular, or 5 dpn, whatever you prefer. About 125 yards of worsted weight yarn and size 7 or 8 needles (according to yarn and your tension) will be enough for a pair.
They’re off kilter because each mitt sports two cable sequences, with one of the cables housing the thumb hole and the other appearing off center on the back of the hand. There’s no left mitt or right mitt, so you can’t get it wrong. (More Detail...)
What’s more—this pattern is FREE for the taking. Just download this PDF now and get started.

DON'T MISS THE OK KAL!
While you’re at it, join our knitalong, the OK KAL.
There’ll be a grand prize drawing for all those who finish the Off Kilter Mitts in the Knit Along. Just make your OK’s and send me a picture at mirth@jenhagan.com to register to win.
The grand prize drawing has been postponed until the fall. We’ll hold the drawing in early October, 2010. The precise date will be announced soon. It will still be held at The Yarn Stash in Burien, WA. Thank you for your patience!
What are you waiting for—make it OK!
