This easy baby blanket is also a part of the Little Charlie Brown Baby Set, #2221 and is excellent for a new knitter to gain practice in reading charts and line-by-line to advance skills. Beautiful when worked in two colors (or more!), but would also be gorgeous in one color. In several colors, the blanket would be a great way to use up several small batches from your stash.

• Worsted weight yarn, approx 475 yds [434 m] each MC and CC/950 yds [869 m] total of one color
• US Size #7 US [4.5 mm] needles or size needed to achieve gauge
• US size E-4 [3.5 mm] crochet needle
• Yarn needle

Gauge

20 sts & 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st on size 7 needles, after blocking
